What should I bring to my first visit?

Bring any previous test and ultrasound results, a list of your medications and the date of your last period. For infertility assessment, your partner's semen analysis is also helpful.

Can I be examined during my period?

Many assessments can be done during your period. Some hormone tests and scans are planned for specific days of the cycle, so just mention it in your request.

Where are IVF procedures performed?

Assessment, treatment planning and follow-up take place at the clinic. Procedures such as egg collection and embryo transfer are performed at a licensed IVF center.

When should we seek an infertility assessment?

After one year of regular intercourse without pregnancy if you are under 35, or six months if you are 35 or over. Seek advice earlier if you have irregular periods, endometriosis or previous pelvic surgery.

When should I start pregnancy care?

After a positive test, the first visit is usually recommended 2-3 weeks after the missed period (weeks 6-7 of pregnancy). Seek care immediately if you have bleeding or severe pain.
